Women, Infant and Children (WIC): (903) 784 -1411 <br />Fax: (903) 737 -0978 <br />www.paristamarhealth.com <br />Minutes of Regular Meeting <br />Paris - Lamar County Board of Health <br />The Paris - Lamar County Board of Health held a Regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 21St, 2016. <br />In attendance were Mr. Bill Collins, Dr. Rick Erickson, Dr. Mark Gibbons, and Mrs. Nancy Stallings, <br />Others in attendance were Mrs. Gina Prestridge and Ms. Cheryl King -Teer. <br />Mrs. Sharmila Franklin, Dr. Keith House and Dr. Robert White were not in attendance. <br />Mr. Collins called the meeting to order in open session at 5:40 p.m. <br />Dr. Erickson made the motion and was seconded by Mrs. Stallings to approve the minutes from the prior meeting. <br />All approved. <br />Mrs. Prestridge advised the board on the following: <br />• That Dr. Sherry Scott is currently working for the Paris -Lamar County Health District and <br />she does not have any personal liability insurance. Dr. Scott is getting insurance and the <br />Paris -Lamar County Health District will pay a percentage of the premium. All agreed. <br />• Mrs. Prestridge advised that we have a "Public Information Request" form that must be <br />completed in writing and submitted for all septic or food establishment grades and a fee <br />will be charged per copy. <br />• Mrs. Prestridge advised that Mr. Mohammad Sadath has been on the radio advising <br />everyone about the "Zika" virus. Mr. Sadath reminded everyone to wear long sleeves, and <br />spray containing deet. <br />• Mrs. Prestridge advised that the current adopted Board By -Laws states that the board <br />SHALL meet on a regular basis (monthly /quarterly) to conduct business, therefore no <br />change is needed to the by -laws. <br />• Clinical numbers for February were <br />o <br />WIC Services = 1436 <br />o <br />Drive Thru Window = 92 <br />• <br />Clinical Services = 497 <br />• <br />Restaurant Inspections = 20 <br />• <br />Restaurant Complaints =0 <br />• <br />Septic Inspections = 7 <br />• <br />Septic Complaints = 2 <br />• <br />Rabies = 0 <br />• Total liability and equity is $688,566.71 IN <br />
