Item No. 8 <br />memorandum <br />TO: City Council <br />John Godwin, City Manager <br />FROM: Carla Easton, PE, City Engineer <br />Engineering and Community Development <br />SUBJECT: MK PROPERTIES ADDITION CB 286 <br />FINAL PLAT <br />DATE: October 4, 2016 <br />BACKGROUND: Mr. & Mrs. Michael Pickering own lot 16 of City Block 286 located at the <br />SE corner of 27h NE and E. Price Streets. The property is currently zoned General Retail (GR), <br />and is vacant. The owner is proposing to construct retail spaces on the lot. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: The owners have submitted a final plat, along with a guarantee of <br />construction for the public improvements associated with the development. It appears that the <br />final plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations. The Planning & Zoning <br />Commission voted to approve the final plat by a vote of 6 -0 on October 3, 2016. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the final plat. <br />
