Paris Public Library Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 21, 2016 <br />Opening: <br />The regular meeting of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board was called to order at 4:05 p.m. <br />Present: <br />Board members present were Fran Neeley, Connie Dodd, Rebecca Umphrey, Carol James, Michelle <br />Cowling Daisy Harvill, and director Priscilla McAnally. Denise Kornegay was absent <br />I. Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as presented. <br />II. New Business: <br />None <br />III. Old Business: <br />None <br />IV. Presentations: <br />A. Budget Report. The expenditures are on target for the year with approximately <br />$1300 left in the materials budget at the end of August. This should be spent in <br />September by incoming standing orders. <br />B. Statistical Report. There was a slight increase of 2.79% in circulation while visits <br />showed a slight decrease of 1.39% from August 2015. <br />V. Friends of the Library: <br />None <br />VI. Director's Remarks: <br />The next meeting will be October 19. <br />Reavis Wortham will be returning to the library Saturday, October 15 for a book signing <br />with his latest book in the Red River Mysteries series — Unraveled. <br />Adjournment: Meeting was adjourned at 4:30 p.m. <br />Submitted by <br />Denise Kornegay, Secretary <br />
