MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2016 <br />5.30 O'CLOCK PM <br />1. The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Paula Portugal, Chairman at <br />5:30 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: Anna Spencer, Paula Portugal, Tim Bullock <br />Ray Ball, Jim Noble, Dennis Ashby and Matt Birch. <br />B. Also present: Carla Easton, City Engineer; Jerry Richey, Airport Manager; <br />Stephanie Harris, City Attorney; Sue Lancaster, City Council and Ashley Fendley, <br />City Staff. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (August 18, 2016) <br />Motion was made by Ray Ball, seconded by Anna Spencer to approve the minutes from <br />September 15, 2016 meeting, with corrections. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />3. Update on the PEDC subcommittee. <br />Paula Portugal stated that there are no updates with the subcommittee. <br />4. Discussion regarding development opportunities. <br />The Airport Advisory Board discussed development opportunities and how the <br />subcommittee would be an advantage to hopefully find future developers. Ray Ball stated <br />that the City of Paris needs a plan of action when someone contacts us to develop a <br />portion of the Airport. For example, who do they contact and what steps need to be taken. <br />The Airport Advisory Board further discussed PEDC budget possibilities to have <br />developers visit Cox Field. <br />Carla Easton, City Engineer gave a brief status update on the new hangar construction <br />project for 2017. <br />5. Discussion regarding delinquent hangar rentals. <br />Stephanie Harris stated she has mailed letters to the delinquent renters. The Airport <br />Advisory board asked if there was anything in the rental agreements that could evict <br />
