PROCLAMATION <br />WHERE4.S, The strength of our nation, and all of its states and cidesr flows from <br />the promise of individual liberty, equality, and freedom of choice; and <br />WWREO Equal opportunity for all regardless of race, color, religion, sex <br />handicap, familial status, or national origin is a fundamental goal of our nation and <br />state; and <br />WHEREAS; April 2016 marks the 486 anniversary of the passage of Tide V111 of <br />the t:Yvil fthtsAct of 1968, popularly known as the Federal Fair Housing Act and <br />WHEREAS, Barriers that diminish the rights and limit the options of any citizen <br />will ultimately diminish the rights and limit the options of all; and <br />WHEREAS, Fair housing is the policy of the City of Paris, Texas and <br />Implementation of that policy requires the positive commltmen4 involvement and <br />support of each one of our citizens: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, 1, A.J.
