<br />property belonging to LINDA STEPHENS, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br />(C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (54) SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS the hereinafter described <br />property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT <br />(A), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH SPECIFIC USE <br />PERMIT (54) SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS, be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br />SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Thomas Askins Survey, located <br />about 4 miles north of the City of Paris, being Lot 14, City Block 306-C, and being <br />more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the northeast corner of a 135 acre tract of land owned by <br />Wylie Smith; <br />THENCE north 89 deg. west a distance of 225 feet to a stake on the east <br />boundary line of U.S. Highway 271; <br />THENCE in a southerly direction with the east boundary line of said <br />Highway as follows: south 5 deg. west a distance of 570 feet; south 9 deg. west a <br />distance of 20 I feet; south 5 deg. west a distance of 997 feet to a stake in the <br />northwest corner of a tract of land formerly owned by Stallings Nursery; <br />THENCE east a distance of 392 1/2 feet to a stake in old U.S. Highway 271; <br />THENCE north a distance of 1,765 feet to the place of beginning and <br />containing 12.31 acres of land as shown from an actual survey made on the ground <br />by J. W. Crook, County Surveyor of Lamar County, Texas, on January 22, 1951, <br />being located in the 5600 block of U.S. Highway 271 North. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby, <br />directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of <br />Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br />provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 4. That any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty <br />of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and <br />each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above-enumerated sections shall <br />constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br />Section 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br />expressly repealed. <br /> <br />Section 6.
