<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2000-027 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC <br />CONTROL MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 31-65 OF <br />SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; <br />MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE <br />SURffiCT;REPEALINGALLORDINANCESORPARTSOFORDINANCES <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF <br />JULY 1, 2000. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby in all <br />things approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Traffic Control Map adopted in Paragraph (b) of Section 31-65 of the <br />Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended to <br />include the following stop signs: <br /> <br />"Stop - 2nd Street N.E. at E. Booth Street, stopping north- and south-bound traffic. <br /> <br />"Stop - 13th Street S,E. at Cedar Street, stopping north- and south-bound traffic. <br /> <br />"Stop - 16th Street S.E. at Cedar Street, stopping north-bound traffic. <br /> <br />"Stop - 14th Street N.W. at Graham Street, stopping south-bound traffic. <br /> <br />"Stop - 16th Street N.W. at W. Walker Street, stopping north- and south-bound <br />traffic, <br /> <br />"Stop - 22nd Street N.W. at W. Cherry Street, stopping north- and south-bound <br />traffic. <br /> <br />"Stop - County Road 21500 at FM 137, stopping west-bound traffic." <br /> <br />Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of <br />a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00. <br /> <br />Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly <br />repealed. <br /> <br />Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective on July 1, 2000. <br />
