SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, JANUARY 5.2017 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />A G E N D A <br />Call meeting to order. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (December 15, 2016) <br />3. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Michael and Kenda Pickering on <br />Lot 1, Block A, of the MK Properties Addition CB 286 being located at the corner of E. Price and <br />27th Street N.E. <br />A. Section 9 -501 (2) of the Zoning Ordinance which provides that "The minimum frontage <br />setback for a commercial development in a General Retail District (GR) is 20 feet." The <br />applicant is asking for a 13 foot setback, which is a 7 foot variance <br />4. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Michael Rhodes on Lot 11 A, City <br />Block 257B, being located at 2531 Pine Bluff Street. <br />A. Section 9 -102 (1) of the Zoning Ordinance which provides that "The minimum lot area for a <br />residential home in Single Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) be 7,500 square feet." The <br />applicant is proposing to subdivide the existing lot into two lots having 5824 Square Feet to <br />5824 Square Feet respectively. A variance for 1676 Square Feet is requested for the lots. <br />B. Section 9- 301(1) of the Zoning Ordinance which provides that "The minimum lot depth for a <br />residential home in Single Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) be 100 feet deep." The <br />applicant's property is 91 feet deep. The applicant is asking for a 9 foot variance for the lot <br />depth. Proposed lots would be 91 feet deep. <br />5.
