<br />miles per hour at all times, except that a school speed limit ofthirty-five (35) miles per hour shall <br />be effective on school days only at the school crossing zone, from approximate highway milepoint <br />2.570 to milepoint 2.960 only during the following hours: <br /> <br />From forty-five (45) minutes before school opens until classes begin; from the <br />beginning to the end of the lunch period, if needed; and for a thirty (30) minute <br />period beginning at the close of school; <br /> <br />thence southerly for a distance of approximately 0.537 miles to the south city limits of Paris, the <br />speed limit shall be seventy (70) miles per hour daytime and sixty-five (65) miles per hour nighttime <br />at all times as authorized by Transportation Commission Minute 108507; as evidenced by the <br />attached plan which is hereby approved and made a part thereof. <br /> <br />Section 5. That any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty <br />of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not to exceed Two <br />Hundred and nolI 00 Dollars ($200.00). <br /> <br />Section 6. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br />expressly repealed to the extent of such conflict only. <br /> <br />Section 7. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its date of <br />passage and publication as required by law and after the installation of speed limit signs. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 10th day of September, 2001. <br /> <br />~~~ <br />Michael J.
