Call meeting to order — Richard Manning, Chair 2. Citizens' Input (Persons desiring to address the Paris EDC Board must limit their presentation to no more than two minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Board from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the Paris EDC, Board Members or employees are not appropriate for citizens' input.) 3. Discuss and possibly approve Minutes of the December 8, 2016, Special Meeting and the December 20, 2016, Monthly Meeting. 4. Discuss and possibly approve December 2016 Financials. 5. Discuss and possibly approve a Resolution for the expansion of Highway 271 coming up to Paris, Texas. When approved this would be signed by the PEDC Board. 6. A report and discussion for updating the PEDC office phone system. 7. Discuss Board expectations for an economic development video. 8. Synopsis and discussion of Director Bank's requests: o Mr. Paris' assessment of the PEDC when he arrived. o Actions Mr. Paris took to improve the PEDC in the last twelve months. o How have those actions benefited the City of Paris and its citizens? 9. Discuss and possibly approve employee benefits at PEDC. 10. Executive Director's Monthly Report. 11. Convene into Executive Session: a) Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code: 1) to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee: or 2) to hear a complaint to charge against an officer or employee.
