<br />ORDINANCE NO. 99-047 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISIDNG A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br />ON LOT 19, CITY BLOCK 324, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO H. C. REAVES, JR., <br />. SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN <br />AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT <br />TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF <br />AUGUST 1, 1999. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 19, CITY <br />BLOCK 324, on property belonging to H. C. REAVES, JR., so as to include in such <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is <br />presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br />SITUA TED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of a certain 10 acre tract of land conveyed <br />by S. D. Fitch to W. A. Bevill, October 25, 1899, recorded in Volume 87, Page <br />124, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas, being Lot 19, City Block 324, said <br />ten acres also being known as Lot B out of B. F. Bourland Headright Survey in <br />Lamar County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake in the South Boundary Line of Sumner Farm-to- <br />Market Road No. 79, said point being on the West Boundary Line of Lot A and on <br />the East Boundary Line of said Lot B; <br />THENCE South a distance of approximately 521 feet to the North Boundary <br />Line of a tract of land conveyed by Lillie May Bevill Hart and John B. Hart to <br />Willie Maudie Bevill Willsie Barber; <br />THENCE West with said North Boundary Line a distance of approximately <br />312 feet to a stake, the Southeast corner of a Ilh acre tract of land conveyed by <br />Lillie May Bevill Hart and husband, J. B. Hart to Willie Maud Bevill Willsie; <br />THENCE North to the South Boundary Line of said Sumner Farm-to- <br />Market Road No. 79; <br />THENCE Southeast along the South Boundary Line of said Sumner Farm- <br />to-Market Road No. 79 to the place of beginning, containing approximately 4 <br />acres, more or less, being number 2915 FM 79. <br />
