<br />ORDINANCE NO. 99-048 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT <br />(GR) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARD ON LOT 1, CITY <br />BLOCK 347, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO RANDY BROWN, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL <br />DISTRICT (GR); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL <br />DISTRICT (GR) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARD SO <br />EST ABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST 1, 1999. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND <br />BILLBOARD be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 347, on property <br />belonging to RANDY BROWN, so as to include in such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) <br />WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARD the hereinafter described <br />property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT <br />(GR), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) WITH SPECIFIC <br />USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARD, be, and the same are hereby, established as <br />follows: <br /> <br />SITU A TED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, being Lot 1, <br />City Block 347, and a part of the property described in deed from T. W. Johnson <br />and wife, to John C. Isom, dated July 17, 1893, recorded in Volume 74, Page 422, <br />Lamar County Deed Records and being the property deeded to J. C. Isom and wife <br />to Shelton Jack on March 19, 1945, recorded in Volume 282, Page 75, and the <br />property described in deed from J. C. Isom to Rolly Rook Jordan and wife, dated <br />July 12, 1941, recorded in Volume 259, Page 413, Lamar County Deed records, <br />being more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the East Boundary Line of U. S. <br />Highway 271 and the South Boundary Line of the T &PRR right of way, at <br />underpass; <br />THENCE with the East Boundary Line of Highway 271, South 541/2 Deg. <br />East a distance of 33 feet to a stake; <br />THENCE South 371.4 Deg. East a distance of 103.7 feet to a stake; <br />THENCE South 541/2 Deg. a distance of 352.2 feet to a stake; <br />
