<br />ORDINANCE NO. 99-059 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br />WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS ON LOT 1, CITY <br />BLOCK 306-B, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO F AM REC VENTURES, INC., SO AS <br />TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNA TED AS AN <br />AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND <br />BILLBOARDS SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED <br />$2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN <br />CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER <br />1, 1999. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND <br />BILLBOARDS be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 306-B, on <br />property belonging to FAM REC VENTURES, INC., so as to include in such COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT (C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS the hereinafter <br />described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL <br />DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH <br />SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS, be, and the same are hereby, <br />established as follows: <br /> <br />SITU A TED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Reddin Russell Survey No. 786, <br />about three (3) miles Northerly from the City of Paris, being part of a 113.8 acre <br />tract of land conveyed to Estelle Council by deed recorded in Volume 235, Page <br />350, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, being Lot 1, City Block 306-B, and <br />being more particular1y described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake in the Southwest corner of Lot 1, City Block 306- <br /> <br />B' <br />, <br /> <br />THENCE East a distance of 442 feet to a stake for corner in the Southeast <br />corner of said tract; <br />THENCE North a distance of 548 feet to a stake for comer in the Northeast <br />corner of said tract; <br />THENCE West a distance of 442 feet to a stake for corner in the Northwest <br />corner of said tract; <br />THENCE South a distance of 548 feet to the place of beginning, being <br />number 3180 N. Main Street. <br />
