<br />ORDINANCE NO. 99-060 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br />WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS ON WT 9-E, CITY <br />BLOCK 316, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JERRY BOB STEPHENS, SO AS TO <br />INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT (C); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br />(C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS SO ESTABLISHED; <br />PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL <br />ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 1, 1999. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND <br />BILLBOARDS be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 9-E, CITY BLOCK 316, on <br />property belonging to JERRY BOB STEPHENS, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT (C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS the hereinafter <br />described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT (C), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH <br />SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS, be, and the same are hereby, <br />established as follows: <br /> <br />SITU A TED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, being a part <br />of a 2.133 acre tract of land conveyed to John Paul Ingram, Sr. and wife, Jeanette <br />K. Ingram, by D. A. Ensey, Jr. and wife, Elsie M. Ensey, by deed recorded in <br />Volume 530, Page 475, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being more <br />particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at an iron pin in the West boundary line of U. S. Highway <br />271 (Loop 286), said point being N 400 00' Walong said boundary a distance of <br />56.8 feet, thence N 44 0 56' W a distance of 33.2 feet from the most Southeasterly <br />corner of above said 2.133 acres; <br />THENCE N 440 56' Walong said boundary of U. S. Highway 271 a <br />distance of 19.6 feet to an iron pin for corner; <br />THENCE continuing along said boundary N 490 53' W a distance of 80.7 <br />feet to an iron pipe for a corner; <br />THENCE S 630 27' Wa distance of 143.8 feet to an iron pipe for corner; <br />THENCE S 6r 35' E a distance of 72.0 feet to an iron pin for corner; <br />
