ORDINANCE NO. 99-002 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISIDNG A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 224, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DEBBIE NORTH, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.2 (SF-2); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWIm; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF FEBRUARY 1,1999. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 224, on property belonging to DEBBIE NORTH, so as to include in such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: SITUA TED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the George W. Cox Survey, being Lot 7, City Block 224, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a stake in the East Boundary Line of 20th Street S.E. at the Northwest comer of the tract of land conveyed to L. R. Crook and husband, M. B. Crook, and Finis White and wife, Myrta Vola White, on February 6, 1947, by deed recorded in Volume 295, Page 273, Lamar County Deed Records; THENCE North with the East Boundary Line of 20th Street S.E. a distance of 90 feet to a stake; THENCE East a distance of 190 feet more or less to a stake in the East Boundary Line of the tract of land conveyed by W. B. Oakes and wife, Sallio Oakes, to J. W. Crook on April 16, 1910, by deed recorded in Volume 128, Page 569, Lamar County Deed Records; THENCE South a distance of 90 feet to a stake at the Northeast comer of the above-mentioned Crook-White tract of land; THEN CE West a distance of 190 feet more or less to the place of beginning, being number 101 20th Street S.E.
