<br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />99-012 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISIDNG A PUBLIC LANDS AND <br />INSTITUTION DISTRICT (PLI) ON LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 152, ON PROPERTY <br />BELONGING TO THE CITY OF PARIS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.1 <br />(MF-l); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PUBLIC LANDS AND <br />INSTITUTION DISTRICT (PLI) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY <br />NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF <br />ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE OF MARCH 1, 1999. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTION DISTRICT (PLI) be, and the same is hereby, established <br />on LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 152, on property belonging to CITY OF PARIS, so as to include in <br />such PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTION DISTRICT (PLI) the hereinafter described property, <br />which was formerly and is presently designated as a MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING <br />DISTRICT NO.1 (MF-1), and that the boundaries of said PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTION <br />DISTRICT (PLI), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br />SITUA TED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, State of Texas, being a part of the Asa Jarman Survey, being Lot 1, City <br />Block 152, being the same property described in deed from A. W. Whatley and <br />wife, Pauline Whatley, to Isabel Raissez and wife, Mary Ann Raissez, dated <br />September 19, 1984, and recorded in Volume 675, Page 719, Deed Records, <br />Lamar County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake on the comer of 9th Street S. W. (formerly Wright <br />Street) and W. Brame Street, being the intersection of the East Boundary Line of <br />9th Street S.W. and South Boundary Line of West Brame Street; <br />THENCE South with the East Boundary Line of 9th Street S. W. (formerly <br />Wright Street) a distance of 186 feet to the North Boundary Line of an alley 15 feet <br />wide; <br />THENCE East with the North Boundary Line of said alley a distance of 77 <br />feet to the Southwest comer of a tract of land deeded by Lucy Whitten et al to W. <br />W. Wright, recorded in Volume 290, Page 142, Deed Records, Lamar County, <br />Texas; <br />THENCE North with said Wright's West Boundary Line a distance of 186 <br />feet to a stake in the South Boundary Line of W. Brame Street; <br />
