<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY
<br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING mE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
<br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN OFFICE DISTRICT (0) ON
<br />LOT 100A, CITY BWCK 29, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GLENDA CLARKSON,
<br />SO AS TO INCLUDE mEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A
<br />MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.1 (MF-l); DESIGNATING THE
<br />BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (0) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR
<br />A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
<br />OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
<br />DATE OF MAY 1, 1999.

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance
<br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that an
<br />OFFICE DISTRICT (0) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT IO-A, CITY BLOCK
<br />29, on property belonging to GLENDA CLARKSON, so as to include in such OFFICE
<br />DISTRICT (0) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated
<br />as a MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. I (MF-l), and that the boundaries of
<br />said OFFICE DISTRICT (0), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows:

<br />SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of
<br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, being Lot lO-
<br />A, City Block 29, also being the same property described in deed from Melvin Bill
<br />White and wife, Christine White to Opal King, recorded in Volume 535, Page 79,
<br />Lamar County Deed Records, and being more particularly described as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of the intersection of East Houston
<br />Street and 8th Street N.E. (formerly North High or 26th Street);
<br />THENCE West, with the North Boundary Line of East Houston Street, a
<br />distance of 112.6 feet to a stake;
<br />THENCE North a distance if 84 feet to the Southwest corner of a lot set
<br />aside in Partition to Mack R. Thompson;
<br />THENCE East, with the South Boundary Line of his lot, a distance of
<br />112.6 feet to a stake in the West Boundary Line of 8th Street N.E.;
<br />THENCE South, with the West Boundary Line of 8th Street N.E., a
<br />distance of 84 feet to the place of beginning, being number 107 8th Street N.E.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby,
<br />directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of
<br />Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
<br />provisions of this ordinance.
<br />
<br />Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of
<br />a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and
<br />each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above-enumerated sections shall
<br />constitute and be deemed a separate offense.
