Call meeting to order -Jill Drake 4:31 pm <br />2. Approval of minutes of November 17, 2016 2016. Motion was made by Cody Kelly and seconded by Laurie <br />Redus, Motion carried. <br />3. Managers' Report- Cheri Bedford <br />a. HPC meeting this Wednesday <br />b. March 4, 2017 Half Marathon is beginning and ending in the Plaza expecting 1200 people <br />c. Paris Maps- have two cases available- 2000 please pick up as it is time to update the map <br />d. Wine Fest April 1, 2017 currently have 5 wineries committed. <br />e. Movies in the Park have been selected to begin June 15. 22 & 29 and in July 13, 20 & 27. <br />f. Sidewalk Project on Lamar Ave ( In front of the Grant) and on 1 stSW in front of Swaim Hardware — Plans are <br />being reviewed , construction bidding at end of January and construction to begin in March and will take 3 -6 <br />months weather permitting <br />g. Farmers Market meeting Thursday, January 12 at 6 pm- Market opens May 6, 2017 <br />Updated information on Paristexas.gov for Market Square Vendors and Junk in the Trunk Vendors <br />4. 2017 Work Plans Development -- Discussed our goals for as follows: <br />a. Something for younger people to do in downtown <br />b. Messaging Kiosk — informing of what is happening and what is Downtown <br />C. Downtown clean up <br />d. Revitalizing Market Square area <br />e. Action plan on activities: wine fest, movies, main table, ghost tours, etc. (Movie Volunteers- ask Honor <br />Society Members for service hours) <br />f. Support for existing business- seeing what is needed <br />g. Bringing Art to Downtown <br />h. Event targeting retail <br />Cheri to take ideas and fill in our Goals. <br />5. Future Agenda Items- Discuss attendance at HPC meetings <br />Motion to adjourn made by Shelley McDowell & seconded by Cody Kelly.
