MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2016 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />1. The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Dennis Ashby, Vice - Chairman <br />at 5:30 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: Anna Spencer, Jim Noble, Ray Ball and <br />Dennis Ashby. <br />B. The following members were absent: Matt Birch, Paula Portugal and Tim Bullock. <br />C. Also present: Carla Easton, City Engineer; Jerry Richey, Airport Manager and <br />Ashley Fendley, City Staff. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (October 20, 2016) <br />Motion was made by Ray Ball, seconded by Anna Spencer to approve the minutes from <br />October 20, 2016 meeting. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />3. Discussion regarding development opportunities. <br />The Airport Advisory Board discussed keeping this item on the agenda for the next <br />scheduled meeting. No discussion at this time regarding development opportunities. <br />4. Discussion regarding delinquent hangar rentals. <br />Ashley Fendley stated that Stephanie Harris sent her an email regarding the delinquent <br />renters. Ms. Fendley stated that Jimmy Smyers is 2 months behind. Ms. Fendley further <br />stated that Mrs. Harris has sent another delinquent letter to Jimmy Smyer. <br />5. Discussion regarding the status of the new hangar construction project. <br />Carla Easton, City Engineer stated that we had the bid opening on October 27, 2016 for <br />the new hangar construction project. Mrs. Easton stated that the winning bid was from <br />Mitchell Enterprises for $884,087.12 for four hangars. Mrs. Easton stated normally <br />TxDOT projects begin construction 90 days after the bid is awarded due to paperwork. <br />Mrs. Easton stated that construction should start in January or February hopefully. The <br />Airport Advisory Board stated they would like to ask the City Council for the extra <br />
