4. Update and report from Shawn Napier, Airport Director and Jerry Richey, Airport
Manager.
Shawn Napier stated its time again for our RAMP Grant, which is Routine Airport
Maintenance Program through TxDOT Aviation. This will be fifty percent (50 %) of the
eligible project cost for the projects or $50,000.00, whichever is less. Shawn Napier
further stated that the fur down in the terminal building was starting to fall down; Bobby
Smallwood Construction has repaired the damage. Shawn Napier stated that we have non-
entitlement money that we have requested thought TxDOT Aviation. It amount to about
$150,000.00 dollars a year; we would have to bank that for four years which would be six
hundred thousand dollars to build hangars with. Jerry Richey stated that the self -serve
pump went out a few months back; Paris Pump Service has fixed the problem. Shawn
Napier stated that TxDOT Aviation is only going to support us on two of the three
runways. On the runway that we have shrunk from one hundred fifty feet to one hundred
foot service; we will look into putting crack seal on both ends of the runway. The Airport
Advisory Board had some concerns about people being on the runway and inside the gate.
S. Request for future agenda items. Signs for the airport and private hangar lease.
6. Meeting adjourned at 6 :00 P.m.
APPROVED THIS 19' DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2013.
— /2"('5
Billy eland, hairman
