She also stated that they use the house <br />for storage. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />C. 1221 NW 17t', Few Addition, Block 1, Lot 10 -D <br />Owner: Rochelle Pratt, PO Box 572, Paris, TX 75461 <br />Robert Talley brought this before BSC about a year ago and it was tabled because <br />the house was in too good of shape to be demolished. <br />$921.73 back taxes owed. <br />Mr. Talley had received a letter from Mrs. Pratt in the past stating that she did not <br />own the house and to please not contact her again in regards to this property. <br />Upon further investigation Mr. Talley discovered that this house was a Warranty <br />Deed to Mrs. Pratt. A violation letter was sent out but no contact was made this <br />time. <br />Mr. Talley stated that even though the front of the house looked good there was a <br />hole at the peak of the roof and whenever it rained water poured into the structure. <br />Because of this hole there is water damage inside. The house is unsecure, there <br />is missing wood at the roof line and the siding is pulling loose and buckling. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />
