Owner: James B & Brian K Flowers 715 NE 34"' Paris, TX 75460 <br />No taxes owned on this property. <br />There has been no contact with the owner. <br />Robert Talley stated the front porch is collapsing, there's deterioration of the <br />porch, the foundation is sinking and has damage, the roof line is damaged, the <br />structure is unsecure and the underpinning is buckling. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Sally McEwin, seconded by Johnny Norris to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />P. 134 SW 1St, City of Paris, Block 5, Lot 4 <br />Owner: Truby Family Revocable Trust 7500 SW 63`a Ave. South Miami, FL <br />33143 -4657 <br />No back taxes owed. <br />Robert Talley stated that this property has been brought to BSC twice already. <br />They were ordered to fix the leak in the roof and fix the doors and windows in the <br />front. They did fix the leak in the roof but didn't do anything else. BSC put a $10 <br />per day civil penalty on the property about 19 months ago. Robert explained <br />that the windows still have broken glass in them which needs to be removed and <br />the front doors in repaired. Don Wilson asked Stephanie Harris (Asst. City <br />Attorney) if the committee needed to end this $10 civil penalty to reassess a new <br />civil penalty. Mrs. Harris said yes a new BSC order needs to be done and that she <br />will file the paper work for the original civil penalty. The BSC members agree <br />that for safety reasons the broken glass from the windows and a board that is <br />loose should be removed immediately. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to repair if not the City will assess <br />a $50 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Sally McEwin to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />4. Code Enforcement update. <br />(1.) Robert Talley showed the BSC committee the new way he has arranged <br />the BSC order report. He broke down Demolitions - Completed, <br />Repairs - Completed, Demolition - Incomplete, and Repairs - Incomplete. Don <br />Wilson expressed that he feels like the report will be easier to read. Robert Talley <br />said we have about 50 -60 targeted structures at this time. <br />(2). FYI — Don Wilson received a letter from Enid Shanahan at 610 SW 7 t <br />asking for more time. The original BSC order was 60 days to demolish. Robert <br />Talley will handle this. <br />(3). Jon McFadden asked about the property at 35 Drive Inn which has BSC <br />orders from 7/18/13 for 90 days to repair. Robert Talley stated that they have <br />
