MINUTES <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />MONDAY, MARCH 25, 2013 <br />4:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by Paul Denney, <br />Chairman 4:00 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: Paul Denney, Douglas Cox, Ben Vaughan, <br />and David Stewart, Nancy Anderson <br />B. The following members were absent: Laurie Redus, and Britin Bostick <br />C. Also present: Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager, Krystal Roach, Hannah <br />Sisson <br />2. Approval of minutes from March 13, 2013. Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded <br />by Nancy Anderson, Motion carried 5 -0 <br />3. Consideration of and action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness: <br />A. 15 N.E. 2nd St. SoHo Studio Salon - Krystal Roach <br />Krystal Roach presented the signage for her Salon. She presented her <br />lettering in white lettering, for clarification, but the lettering is in black and <br />there is a green in the back ground to match the Spa Bar. <br />Motion made by Ben Vaughan and seconded by David Stewart to approve <br />signage as presented, Motion Carried 5 -0 <br />B. 17 N.E. 2nd St. Mommy and Me- Hannah Sisson <br />Commission was unable to determine the placement and size of the blade signage <br />and the window signage, and it was determined that the application was <br />incomplete. Hannah stated that she had help with city officials, and there was <br />some miscommunication. The commission asked Hannah to return with a <br />complete application, and advised her get with Cheri Bedford, HPC to make sure <br />we have everything needs to get it resubmitted. <br />SS%e, <br />Motion made by Ben Vaughan and seconded by Nancy Anderson to reject the <br />current COA and resubmit another COA with complete information. Motion <br />Carried 5 -0 <br />4. Future Agenda Items: <br />
