ORDINANCE NO. 2002-007 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 14.310 (CALLED 14.526) ACRES, MORE OR LESS, AS REQUESTED BY PETITION OF THE OWNERS THEREOF; GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABIT ANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABIT ANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, a petition of annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to-wit: Being all that certain tract of land situated in the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Wesley Askins Survey, Abstract No.7, a part of the 100.0 acre tract ofland conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et aI, by deed recorded in Volume 939, Page 31 of the Lamar County Real Properly Records, and a part of the 121.76 acre tract of land conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et aI, by deed recorded in Volume 949, Page 296 of the Lamar County Real Property Records, and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin found for corner at the intersection of the northwest line of F.M. Highway 195 with the northeast line of County Road 42250, the southwest corner of said 121.76 acres; THENCE North 580 00' 45" West with said northeast line a distance of 1264.30 feet to an iron pin found at the southwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to Michael S. Kennedy by deed recorded in Volume 1007, Page 327 of the Lamar County Real Property Records and in the northwest line of proposed Abby Lane; THENCE North 450 38' 18" East with the southeast line of said Kennedy tract and said northwest line a distance of 567.17 feet to an iron pin found at the southeast corner of the Kennedy tract; THENCE Northerly with the center of a creek along the east line of the Kennedy tract the following: North 140 36' 50" West a distance of 68.10 feet; North 430 52' West a distance of 176.41 feet; North 11 0 23' 50 " West a distance of 52.37 feet; North 300 26' 55" West a distance of 53.16 feet; North 04048' East a distance of 59.88 feet; ..
