MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />MONDAY, MARCH 5. 2012 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, March 5, 2012, <br />was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Richard Hunt, Vice - Chairman. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />James Price <br />Jerry Akers <br />Holland Harper <br />Keith Flowers <br />Richard Hunt <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Keith Barnett <br />Dennis Chalaire <br />C. Also present was Shawn Napier, P.E., Director of Engineering, Planning and <br />Development; and Jeanna Scott, Assistant Building Official. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (February 6, 2012) <br />Motion was made by Keith Flowers, seconded by Holland Harper to approve the meeting <br />minutes for the February 6, 2012. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />3. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Ronny Bolton for a <br />change in zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Commercial <br />District (C), on Lot 13, City Block 305, being number 1415 191h Street N. W. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />A. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Ronny Bolton, 1421 19'b Street N.W., property owner, spoke in favor of the <br />petition. Mr. Bolton stated they want to park wrecked vehicles on the lot pending <br />repair. There is currently a black top parking area they will utilize to park the <br />vehicles on. <br />
