S. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Farris 235 -A <br />Addition, being number 1818 West Henderson Street. <br />Shawn Napier, Director of Engineering, Planning and Development stated the property <br />owners are trying to rebuild a house on this lot. There is a flood plain on the lot but the <br />house will not be located in the flood plain. Dennis Chalaire requested a benchmark be <br />shown on the plat. <br />Motion was made by James Price, seconded by Dennis Chalaire to approve the preliminary <br />plat subject to City Engineer's recommendation with the addition of the benchmark. <br />Motion carried 6 -0. <br />6. Consideration ofand action on the Preliminary Plat of Lots I and 2, Block A, Bizzell CB 70 <br />Addition, being number 401 12th Street N.E. <br />Shawn Napier stated Mr. Bizzell wants to construct a shop behind his home. Dennis <br />Chalaire stated the plat needs to show the finished floor elevation, a benchmark and the <br />alley way width. <br />Motion was made by Holland Harper, seconded by Mike Folmar to approve the <br />preliminary plat, subject to the City Engineer's recommendation with the addition of the <br />finished floor level, benchmark and alley width. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />Motion was made by Richard Hunt, seconded by Holland Harper to recuse Dennis Chalaire <br />from items 4, 7 and 8. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />4. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the Site Plan for Gerry Teague on Lot 1, <br />Block 7, Springlake Addition, being number 350 North Collegiate Drive. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />A. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Jim Coplin, contractor representing the property owners, spoke in favor of the <br />petition. Mr. Coplin stated we received permission from the city to temporarily set <br />a cooling unit behind the building for storing fresh cut flowers. The refrigeration <br />company recommended this unit be enclosed. Mr. Coplin further stated the <br />enclosure will match the current structure utilizing the same metal which is 24 R <br />panel. <br />B. No one spoke in opposition of the petition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made by Holland Harper, seconded by Mike Folmar to approve the Site Plan <br />subject to the City Engineer's recommendations. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />
