Public hearing was declared open. A. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition: Holland Harper, 1040 31 st Street S.E., spoke in favor of the petition. Mr. Harper stated We Reit will be installing a rail spur to move aggregates. This will bring more jobs to the City of Paris, helping improve the infrastructure. They will bring in water trucks to keep the dust down and will also build a berm that will be at least twelve foot high planting cedars on the top to help shield the neighborhood from the noise. Proposed hours of operation will be from 7:00 am to 10 pin, to keep from disturbing neighbors. B. No one spoke in opposition. Public hearing was declared closed. Motion was made by Dennis Chalaire, seconded by Richard Hunt to approve the change to the Future Land Use Map. Motion carried 6 -0. 4. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of We Reit, LLC. (a).for a change in zoning from a Light Industrial District (LI) to a Healy Industrial District (HI) on Lot 2, Block 1; Lot 1, Block 2; Lots I & 2, Block 3, Lots 4 -9, Block 6; Lots 1 -10, Block 7, Lots I-11, Block 8; Lots 7 -12, Block 9; Texas & Pacific Addition; and Lots 3 and 4, City Block 162; (b) a change in zoning from a Commercial District (C) to a Heavy Industrial District (HI) on Lots 1 -12, Block 10; Lots 1 -12, Block 11; Lots 1 -12, Block 12; Lots 1 -12, Block 13, Texas & Pacific Addition, being located between South Church Street, 6`h Street SE., Paris Boulevard and Union Pacific Railroad. Public hearing was declared closed. Motion was made by Dennis Chalaire, seconded by Keith Barnett to approve the zoning change. Motion carried 6 -0. S. Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Loop 286 GBB Addition, being number 2015 Loop 286 N.E. Motion was made by Richard Hunt, seconded by Dennis Chalaire to approve the final plat, subject to the City Engineer's recommendations. Motion carried 6 -0.
