MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />MONDAY, AUGUST 1, 2011 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, August 1, 2011, <br />was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Dennis Chalaire, Interim Chairman. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />James Price <br />Holland Harper <br />Keith Barnett <br />Jerry Akers <br />Dennis Chalaire <br />Richard Hunt <br />Keith Flowers <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />None <br />C. Also present was Shawn Napier, Director of Engineering, Planning and <br />Development; Jeanna Scott, Planning and Zoning Liaison; and Mayor Hashmi. <br />2. Election of officers for the upcoming year. <br />A. Chairman <br />Motion was made by Richard Hunt, seconded by Keith Barnett to nominate <br />Dennis Chalaire for Chairman. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />B. Vice- Chairman <br />Motion was made by Dennis Chalaire, seconded by James Price to <br />nominate Richard Hunt as Vice - Chairman. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />C. Secretary <br />Motion was made by Keith Barnett, seconded by James price to nominate <br />Holland Harper as Secretary. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />
