Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Shawn Napier presented the petition to the commissioners. Mr. Napier stated that this <br />situation was brought to the city's attention by code enforcement and complaints that had <br />been received regarding Mr. Mancuso tractor trailer rig being parked in the right -of -way. <br />Mr. Napier further stated Mr. Mancuso wants to park his tractor trailer in the front yard <br />which is not allowed in a residential district therefore a zoning change was required to <br />enable him to park his truck at this location. Mr. Fendley asked isn't there a lot close by for <br />tractor trailers to park? Jeanna Scott stated Mr. Mancuso had said he was parking his <br />tractor trailer on an approved lot, and it had been broken into on several occasions. <br />Motion was made by Keith Barnett, seconded by Dennis Chalaire to deny the petition. <br />Motion carried 5 -2. <br />4. Public hearing to consider the petition of Randall L. Mancuso for a change in zoning from <br />a Planned Development District (PD -b) Housing development or community unit <br />development to a Commercial District (C) on Lot NPart of 1 A, City Block 328, being <br />number 3405 Bonham Street. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />A. No one spoke in favor of the petition. <br />B. There was no opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Item 4 must be denied if the Future Land Use Map is denied. <br />Motion was made by Keith Barnett, seconded by Dennis Chalaire to deny the petition. <br />Motion carried 5 -2. <br />5.
