MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2011 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by Arvin Starrett, <br />Chairman at 12:00 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Arvin Starrett, Chairman <br />Paul Denney, Vice - Chairman <br />Douglas Cox <br />Ben Vaughan <br />Nancy Anderson <br />David Stewart <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Britin Bostick <br />C. Also present Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager. <br />2. Consideration of and action on the, following Certificate of Appropriateness: <br />B. 400 Church Street — Petition was withdrawn. <br />C. 442 South Main Street — Jedediah Irwin presented the petition. Motion was made <br />by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Paul Denney to approve the COA as ordinary <br />maintenance. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />E. 746 South Church — Doug Hines presented the petition. Motion was made by Ben <br />Vaughan, seconded by Paul Denney to approve the COA. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />D. 39 Lamar Avenue — Richard Dixon presented the petition. Motion was made by <br />Paul Denney, seconded by Douglas Cox to approve the COA. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />A. 208 South Main — No one presented the petition. Motion was made by David <br />Stewart, seconded by Paul Denney to approve the COA subject to the paint color being <br />black, white or the color of the Gibraltar fence. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the following Fagade Grant_ <br />A. 442 South Main Street — Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by <br />Douglas Cox to approve the Fagade Grant. <br />
