<br />WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the 11 th day of October, <br />2004; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against the same, the City <br />Council adopted Resolution No. 2004-190 granting such petition to annex said territory into the city <br />of Paris, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the following described property, to-wit: <br /> <br />Being all that certain tract ofland situated in Lamar County, <br />Texas, a part of the Wesley Askins Survey, Abstract No.7, a part of <br />the 100.00 acre tract ofland conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et aI., <br />by deed recorded in Volume 939, Page 31 of the Lamar County <br />Real Property Records, and a part of the 121.76 acre tract ofland <br />conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et aI., by deed recorded in Volume <br />949, Page 296 of the Lamar County Real Property Records, and <br />being further described as follows: <br />Beginning at an iron pin found for comer at the most <br />Northeasterly comer of Lot 17, Block B, of The Hills Phase III as <br />recorded in Envelope No. 371-C of the Lamar County Plat Records; <br />Thence South 58032'57" West a distance of411.55 feetto an <br />iron pin found for comer at the most Northwesterly comer of Lot 20, <br />Block B, of said The Hills Phase III, said pin being in the Northeast <br />R.O.W. of North Hills Drive; <br />Thence South 53054'04" West a distance of60.10 feet to an <br />iron pin found for comer at the most Northeasterly comer of Lot 1, <br />Block E, of said The Hills Phase III, said pin being in the Southwest <br />R.O.W. of North Hills Drive; <br />Thence South 51005'37" West a distance of511.48 feet to an <br />iron pin found for comer at the most Northeasterly comer of Lot 6, <br />Block E, of said The Hills Phase III, said pin being the most <br />Northwesterly comer of Lot 5, Block E, of said The Hills Phase III; <br />Thence South 54054'28" West a distance of300.67 feet to an <br />iron pin found for comer at the most Northeasterly comer of Lot 9, <br />Block E, of The Hills Phase II as recorded in Envelope No. 364-D, of <br />the Lamar County Plat Records, said pin being the most <br />Northwesterly comer of Lot 8, Block E, of the Hills Phase III; <br />Thence South 51005'37" West a distance of208.93 feet to an <br />iron pin found for comer at the most Northwesterly comer of Lot 10, <br />
