Ray Ball made report to the advisory board. Mr. Ball stated we had a meeting a Jaxx's <br />recently; we looked at having something in the spring after the completion of Phase II. If <br />we cannot get all of Phase II done we could possible move the open house to this time <br />next October. The committee discussed bringing in entertainment, like the remote control <br />planes, food vendors, rides in airplanes, also inviting the local sky divers to perfonn. <br />Talked about doing a VIP by invitation to push the airport and let them see what was out <br />there. We also discussed parking issues and how we will provide public toilets. The <br />fourth thing would be to monitor how many people are coming out by issuing a ticket to <br />each person and that can be put in a drawing later in the day. Give -a -ways could be <br />donated from local merchants. Shawn Napier stated we need to get a better timeline from <br />TXDOT to help nail down a date. Will come back at the next meeting to fine up possible <br />dates. <br />6 Future agenda items. Bring back item 4. Report from Airport Manager regarding runway <br />light issues and stripping of taxiways into the hangars. <br />7.
