MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />CITY OF PARIS — CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, JUNE 21, 2012 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Billy Copeland, Chairman at <br />5:30 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Ray Ball <br />Phillip Payne <br />Fred Williams <br />Billy Copeland <br />Jerry Coyle <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Steve Gilbert <br />Vic Ressler <br />C. Also present was Shawn Napier, Airport Director; John Godwin, City Manager; <br />Jerry Richey, Airport Manager; and Jeanna Scott, City Staff. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (May 17, 2012) <br />Motion was made by Ray Ball, seconded by Jerry Coyle to approve the minutes for the <br />May 17, 2012 meeting. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />3. Report from Shawn Napier, Airport Director: <br />A. Status ofAirport Improvements — Shawn Napier made a report to the advisory <br />board members. Mr. Napier stated continuing with panel replacement on <br />crosswind runway 1432 equipment broke down and delayed work, however they <br />should complete be up and running by tomorrow. They also had concerns on what <br />was under the concrete sections they were breaking out; we called the engineers in <br />from KSA back out to take a look at the subgrade. We could be looking at a <br />possible change order for additional work if there is a problem. The portion of the <br />taxi way in front of the Triple A hanger will be worked on next week laying new <br />hot mix. Everything is progressing as expected; we could see a delay for the <br />change order regarding the subgrade. <br />
