MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />CITY OF PARIS — CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2012 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />1. The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Jack Ashmore, Chairman at <br />5:30 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Fred Williams <br />Jack Ashmore <br />Billy Copeland <br />Ray Ball <br />Steve Gilbert <br />Phillip Payne <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Jerry Coyle <br />C. Also present was Shawn Napier, Airport Director. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (September 20, 2012) <br />Motion was made by Ray Ball, seconded by Fred Williams to approve the meeting <br />minutes for September 20, 2012. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />3. Report from Shawn Napier, Airport Director: <br />A. Status of Airport Improvements — Shawn Napier made a report to the advisory board <br />members. Mr. Napier stated he met with Chris Leppert with KSA, the new pavement <br />next to the terminal building has been approved by TXDOT. R.K. Hall is schedule to <br />start on Monday, October 22, 2012 on lowering the electrical and phone cables and <br />paving. Looking into getting some extra paving from R.K. Hall on the main entrance, <br />around the terminals, and past the entry gate. Blue Bay is done with their contract. <br />R.K. Hall's first contract is still active. Mr. Napier further stated he is trying to get <br />R.K. Hall to finish up the asphalt work. Advisory board members ask if the taxi lights <br />were working. Shawn Napier stated he would ask Jerry Richey. <br />
