There was no opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made by David Glass, seconded by Kyle McCarley to approve the variance <br />request. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />4. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Charles Greb to grant a <br />variance of Zoning Ordinance 1710, Section 9- 201(1) which provides that the "minimum <br />lot width in a Tivo- Family Dwelling District (2F) be no less than 60 feet" to allow a <br />minimum lot width of S0 feet, which is a 10 foot variance, on Lot 22, Block 2, Anita Parks <br />Addition, being number 1725 Hubbard Street. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />A. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Sam Buzbee, Red River County, architect representing the petition. Mr. Buzbee <br />stated he is working with Mr. Greb to design a duplex for the lot. Because of the <br />dimensions of the lot they would be unable to build on it. The duplex will not <br />be as wide as a single family home. <br />B. The following individuals spoke in opposition. <br />Victor Chavez, 214 12t" Street N.E., spoke in opposition to the petition. Mr. <br />Chavez did not understand the petition. He had questions regarding his property. <br />Mr. Chavez thought the board was acting on his lot. He further stated he was not <br />in opposition to Mr. Greb's petition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made by Kyle McCarley, seconded by Chester Martindale to approve the <br />variance request. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />5. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Yolanda Castillo to grant <br />a variance of Fencing Ordinance 2008 -008, Section 11.5- 3(b)(1)(a) which provides "no <br />fence shall be permitted in the front yard " to allow a 'fence in the front yard, " on Lot 9, <br />City Block 257 A, being number 2431 Pine Bluff Street. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />
