MINUTES <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />TUESDAY, JULY 17, 2012 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Board of Adjustment meeting was called to order by Rick Hundley at 12:00 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Allen Moore <br />Rick Hundley <br />Bryan Glass <br />Jerry Haning <br />Marilyn Smith <br />Nathan J. Bell V <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Charles Richards <br />C. Also present was Jeanna Scott, City Staff. <br />2. Election of Officers: <br />A. Chairman — Motion was made by Allen Moore, seconded by Jerry Harming to <br />nominate Rick Hundley as Chairman. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />B. Vice - Chairman — Motion was made by Jerry Hanning, seconded by Marilyn Smith <br />to nominate Bryan Glass as Vice - Chairman. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />C. Secretary — Motion was made by Allen Moore, seconded by Bryan Glass to <br />nominate Nathan J. Bell V as Secretary. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />3. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (December 6, 2011) <br />Motion was made by Allen Moore, seconded by Bryan Glass to approve minutes for <br />the December 6, 2011 meeting. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />4. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Clinton and Fairy Bagby <br />to grant a variance of Zoning Ordinance 1710, Section 9- 201(1) which provides that the <br />"minimum lot width in a Single Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) be no less than 50 <br />feet" to allow a minimum lot width of 45 feet, which is a S foot variance, on Lot 14, City <br />Block 235, being number 1111 17th Street N. W. <br />
