4. Consideration of and action on the application for a demolition permit by <br />Clifton Fendley for the structure located at 22 and 24 W. Brame Street. Motion <br />to grant the demolition permit was made by Becki Norment, seconded by Sue <br />Lancaster. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />Brian Wear arrived at the meeting. <br />5. Consideration of and action on the following Certificates ofAppropriateness: <br />A. 718 S. Main Street - John and Denise Williams. John and Denise <br />Williams, 1805 Majestic Drive, said that they are redoing the interior of <br />the property as well. Motion was made to approve the COA by Paul <br />Denney, seconded by Beck! Norment. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />B. 308 S. Main Street - YWCA by Nicki Brown, Executive Director. Motion <br />was made to approve the COA by Sue Lancaster, seconded by Sue <br />Lancaster. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />C. 632 S. Main Street -John N. and Margaret O'Conner. Motion was made <br />to approve the COA by Sue Lancaster, seconded by Paul Denney. <br />Motion carried 5 -0. <br />D. 143 S. Main Street -Aaron Raper. Aaron Raper explained that he wants <br />to take the glass tiles out - -three fourths of them are broken - -and apply <br />plaster to match the top of the building. The two front doors will be <br />replaced to look like the original doors. The sheet metal will be <br />removed off the glass blocks. Motion was made to approve the COA by <br />Becki Norment, seconded by Brian Wear. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />6. Consideration of and action on a resolution expressing support for the City <br />of Paris's application for a Statewide Transportation Enhancement Program <br />Grant from the Texas Department of Transportation for funding for sidewalk <br />and other improvements in the Downtown Historic District. The Commission <br />was given an attachment showing the proposed areas for the streetscape <br />grant. Motion was made to approve by Brian Wear, seconded by Sue <br />Lancaster. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />7. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. Lisa Wright gave the <br />report. <br />8. The meeting adjourned at 12:20 p.m. <br />
