MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />CITY HALL <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />135 1ST STREET S.E. <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />MONDAY, APRIL 25, 2005 <br />4:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by Vice - <br />Chairman Barbara Wilson at 4:00 P.M. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Barbara Wilson, Vice Chairman <br />Ann Rodgers, Secretary <br />Sue Lancaster <br />Paul Denney <br />Jerry Raper <br />Claudia Hunt <br />Alternates: Brian Wear <br />Becki Norment <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Arvin Starrett, Chairman <br />C. Also present was Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer, and <br />Bethany Golden, Main Street Coordinator. <br />2. Vice - Chairman Wilson asked the Commission to consider Item 3 first. <br />Item 3. Consideration of and action on granting the following requests for <br />facade grants; <br />A. 120 N. Main Street -Kit Lindsey and Jennifer Long. The HPO explained <br />that this work had already been approved by COA. Motion to approve <br />the request was made by Paul Denney, seconded by Sue Lancaster. <br />Motion carried 7 -0. <br />2. Item 2. Consideration of and action on the following Certificate of <br />Appropriateness: <br />A. 265 S. Main Street - Gibraltar Renovations, Inc. Don Wilson told the <br />Commission that he wanted to install transom windows that would be <br />the same level, even though they were at two different locations, to give <br />
