Claudia Hunt, and the City will seek an administrative search warrant. Motion <br />carried 7 -0. <br />Motion was made by Sue Lancaster, seconded by Paul Denney, for others to <br />be referred to the Building and Standards Commission for demolition since <br />they cannot be rehabilitated nor do they have significant historical value. <br />Motion carried 7 -0. <br />5. Discussion of and possible action on the grand opening ceremony for the <br />new City Council Chambers. According to the newspaper, the ribbon cutting <br />and open house will be December 2, 2005, at 5:00 p.m.; however, the <br />Commission requested that the ribbon cutting be moved back. Since Paul <br />Denney will be out of town on certain dates, December 9 was selected. <br />6. Discussion of and possible action on appointing a Pocket Park Fund - raising <br />Committee. Arvin Starrett stated that Historic Preservation Board members <br />should not act as fund raising committee. Main Street could be in charge of <br />the fund raiser and select a couple of members from HPC to assist. <br />7. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. The HPO handed out <br />the attached report. <br />8. Request items from Board for future agendas. None. <br />9.
