178 <br /> <br /> <br /> ACTIVITIES SPECIFICALLY PERMITTED UNDER <br /> TEXAS LAW (Section 4a Cities): <br /> <br /> * Acquistion of land, buildings, and equipment; <br /> <br /> * Paying principal ,and interest on debt; <br /> <br /> * Improving airports that are an integral part of an industrial <br /> park; <br /> <br /> * Making improvements to support waterborne commerce; or <br /> <br /> * Leasing, selling by installment payments, making secured or <br /> unsecured loans, or issuing bonds, providing temporary or <br /> . permanent financing or refinancing (including refunding of <br /> outstanding obligations) for projects of the development <br /> corporation. <br /> <br /> PROJECTS SPECIFICALLY ALLOWED INCLUDE: <br /> <br /> * New or existing land, buildings, equipment, facilties and <br /> improvements required or suitable for the promotion or <br /> development and expansion of manufacturing facilities; <br /> <br /> * Transportation and other public services such as sewer and <br /> water to industrial sites and faclities; <br /> <br /> * Distribution centers; <br /> <br /> * Small warehouse facilities capable of serving as decentralized <br /> storage and distribution centers; and <br /> <br /> * Facilities which are related to the foregoing. <br /> <br /> <br />
