The cost will be approximately $2,000.00 per issue. <br /> <br /> Mr. Vest reported that later in this month, they will be working a trade show, <br /> Real Estate Texas in the Dallas area, with enter. He said there will be a <br /> reception and aiterwards they will have a display. Mr. Vest said he and Eric will <br /> be working in Oncor's booth, and will meet some of the real estate people from <br /> the Dallas area. <br /> <br /> Mr. Vest also mentioned the Realtor's issues with the PEDC's brochures that <br /> came up last month. They had a meeting on June 27, 2002, with Jim Bell, Renee <br /> Harvey, Donald Lewis, Vic Ressler, and Bill Cupit. They discussed what the <br /> PEDC was doing and how they were doing it. Mr. Vest advised that the end. <br /> result was that the Realtors felt the PEDC should continue as they were presently <br /> doing, that it was up to the PEDC whether they list a realtor or not. <br /> <br /> Mr. Vest advised the Board that they did get the completed labor survey back. <br /> The wage and benefit survey is not complete and he is waiting on Turner Piping <br /> information for the survey. Mr. Vest said they had given Turner another set of <br /> forms to complete. <br /> <br />· . City Attomey Schenk told the Board that at the 4-A training he attended, one of <br /> the issues that was raised was the question of the ex-officio members. Mr. Vest <br /> advised that the Attomey General's opinion of the law.is that the law does not <br /> say you can have ex-officio members, so the Attorney General thinks you cannot <br /> have ex-officio members. Mr. Vest advised that it does not say you cannot have <br /> ex-officio members and he felt that the majority of the cities do have ex-officio <br /> members. Mr. Schenk stated that he planned to have additional discussion with <br /> staff in the Attomey General's office. <br /> <br /> Director Fendley wanted to know if there was a contract on the K-Mart Building. <br /> Mr. Vest advised that there is a contract, but it is with some real estate investors <br /> out of Dallas. Mr. Vest thought they might be able to help find a user for that <br /> building. <br /> <br /> <br />
