Minutes <br />Traffic Commission <br />City of Paris <br />The Traffic Commission met on Tuesday, February 5, 2007, at 5:15 P.M. in the <br />Municipal Courtroom with the following members present: <br />1. <br />Ed Seidle <br />2. <br />George Kimbrough <br />3. <br />Jordon Harper <br />4. <br />George Fisher <br />5. <br />Jon McFadden <br />The city staff was represented by Assistant Chief of Police Bob Hundley. <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:27 by Acting Chairman Ed Seidle. <br />Mr. Seidle asked the commission members to review the submitted minutes of <br />the November 14, 2006 meeting. Mr. Fisher made a motion to approve the <br />minutes which was seconded by Mr. Harper. The motion carried 5 -0. <br />Mr. Seidle then moved to item #3 for a request for a stop sign at the intersection <br />of a new street, SW 44th Street and Bonham Street stopping northbound traffic. <br />Mr. McFadden moved to approve, Mr. Jordon seconded and the motion passed <br />5 -0. <br />Mr. Seidle then went to agenda item #4, a request for stop signs at the <br />intersection of NW 11 Street and Henderson stopping traffic that would be <br />northbound and southbound on NW 11. Mr. McFadden moved to approve, Mr. <br />Harper seconded and the motion passed 5 -0. <br />Mr. Seidle requested a speed study on Bonham street to lengthen the 30 mile <br />per hour zone further west from the 2000 — 2400 block. Mr. Seidle asked to for <br />information on the Pine Mill Road and NE Loop 286 overpass construction <br />project for next meeting. Mr. Kimbrough asked about the W Price Street plans. <br />Information was provided that the street had been closed and that new and more <br />appropriate barriers on N. Main and NW 1St Street were being sought to block off <br />the 10 block of W. Price. <br />Mr. Seidle then asked for a motion for adjournment, which was provided by Mr. <br />Kimbrough and the meeting adjourned. <br />Bob Hundley <br />Assistant Chief of Police <br />
