Planning and Zoning Meeting <br />May 6, 2003 <br />Page 9 <br />plan is to improve the exterior appearance and some changes inside so <br />that it will accommodate what they want to do with the property. <br />Ms. Harvey asked if the board members and supporters that were there <br />could stand to show their support. Nine people stood in support of the <br />petition. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />15. Consideration of and action on the petition of Renee Harvey foe a <br />change in zoning from a Two - Family Dwelling District (2F) to a <br />Neighborhood Service District (NS), Lot 11A, City Block 64 -B, being <br />number 665 Pinebluff. <br />Motion was made to approve Neighborhood Service zoning by Carl <br />Lucas, seconded by Louis Yates. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and <br />0 nays. <br />16. Public Hearing to consider the request of Gerald & Janet Nickerson for <br />a site plan approval, Lot 14D, City Block 259, being the 2900 Block of <br />Pine Mill Road. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Gerald Nickerson, 516 County Road 34600, Sumner, Texas, stated that <br />he like to purchase the lot and build an insurance agency, <br />approximately 2,000 square feet. <br />Chairman Hayter asked if the building would be brick. Mr. Nickerson <br />stated that the building would be steel with an all brick exterior. <br />Mr. Hayter commented on the drainage stating that it should be <br />clarified as to where the water would go. <br />
