Planning and Zoning Minutes <br />February 8, 2005 <br />Page 2 <br />Commission discussed whether they should bring the item from the <br />table. Carl Lucas reminded the Commission that, in the past, it had <br />been their practice to deny zoning requests when the petitioner failed <br />to appear twice in a row. The Commission agreed. <br />Motion was made to remove the item from the table by Bobby Myers, <br />seconded by Carl Lucas. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 1 <br />nay. <br />Motion was made to deny the petition by Brad Archer, seconded by <br />Bobby Myers. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 1 nay. <br />5. Consideration of and action on the Replat of the Northwest Paris <br />Industrial Park. <br />Reeves Hayter was excused from consideration of this item. Gary <br />Vest of the Paris Economic Development Corporation was present <br />and reported to the Commission that work was complete and that two <br />lots had been sold. He told the Commission he had met with the City <br />Engineer regarding his recommendations and that many were <br />already completed and the remainder could be completed within a <br />week. <br />Motion was made to approve by Carl Lucas, seconded by Bobby <br />Myers, subject to the City Engineer's Memo dated, February 7, 2005. <br />Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Reeves Hayter returned and assumed the chair. <br />6. Consideration of and possible action on revisions to the future land <br />use categories on the Comprehensive Plan. <br />
