MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE PLANNING AND <br />ZONING COMMISSION <br />MAY 29 2005 <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, May 2, 2005, 5:30, <br />Lamar County Fairgrounds, Westside Building, 570 E. Center Street, <br />Paris, Texas with the following members present: <br />1. Reeves Hayter <br />2. Barbara Forrest <br />3. Russell McCain <br />4. Brad Archer <br />5. Marshall Kent <br />Lisa Wright, the Director of Community Development, was also present. <br />1. The meeting was called to order by Reeves Hayter. <br />2. The minutes from the April 4, 2005, meeting were approved with a <br />motion by Marshall Kent, seconded by Barbara Forrest. Motion <br />carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br />3. The Commission moved to Item 5 at this point to allow time for other <br />Commission members to arrive. <br />Item 5. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of the <br />Kennedy Subdivision. <br />Joe Dan Kennedy and Hayden Foster, Surveyor, were present for the <br />discussion of the Preliminary Plat. Mr. Kennedy advised the <br />Commission that he plans to build a warehouse space -mini storage. <br />He wants to combine all the lots into one (1) lot so that construction <br />can begin. <br />Motion was made to approve the Preliminary Plat by Russell <br />McCain, seconded by Brad Archer, subject to the City Engineer's <br />Memo dated April 25, 2005. Motion carried 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br />
