They are planning to leave the trees on the east <br />side of the property if it is okay according to good engineering. <br />Steve Neece, 3780 Lamar Avenue, stated that he is in favor of the <br />petition. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />5. Item 4. Consideration of and action on the petition of Daniel G. Elcan <br />for a change in zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a General <br />Retail District (GR) on Lot 6, City Block 313, being number 3850 <br />Lamar Avenue. <br />Item 6. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of Lots <br />1 and 2, City Block 313, B.D.T. Subdivision. <br />Reeves Hayter explained to the Commission that a special meeting <br />could be called on the 9th of this month just prior to the Council <br />meeting to consider the items related to the retail center since he there <br />would be less than a quorum when he recused himself. Motion was <br />made to table both items related to the retail center was made by <br />Russell McCain, seconded by Brad Archer. Motion carried by a vote <br />of 5 ayes and 0 nays, with plans to have a special meeting on the 9th <br />to consider the items. <br />7. Consideration of and possible action on amendments to the Future <br />Land Use Map, which is a part of the Comprehensive Plan, as it <br />relates to the southwest quadrant of Paris. <br />The Future Land Use Map was presented for discussion and the <br />Commission made various revisions, completing this quadrant.
