Motion carried by a vote of <br />7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />6. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of Pecan Place, <br />Phase I. <br />Motion was made by Benny Plata, seconded by Carl Lucas to approve <br />the plat, subject to the City Engineer's Memo dated June 1, 2005, <br />with an amendment to Item #2 of the Memo to add off -site ROW for <br />Candice Drive to FM 195, with a recommendation to City Council to <br />waive curb and gutter along 36th Street N.E. and Clement Road in <br />exchange for a 60' wide street built continuously across the Addition <br />and exiting onto FM 195 by no later than Phase III which would <br />ultimately take the place of 36th Street as a collector road. Motion <br />carried 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />7. Consideration of and possible action on amendments to the Future <br />Land Use Map, which is a part of the Comprehensive Plan, as it <br />relates to the northwest quadrant of Paris. <br />Reeves Hayter stated that the review of the southwest quadrant of <br />town was completed at the last meeting. Ms. Wright sent the <br />northwest quadrant this month. Mr. Hayter asked if everyone had <br />time to look over it sufficiently to begin discussions at this meeting or <br />if they would prefer to begin next month. The consensus was to <br />discuss next month after some additional information could be <br />reviewed. <br />Lisa Wright stated she would get a good definition of Heavy <br />Industrial and Light Industrial, and will get a study of Lake Crook. <br />
