MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2009 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, November 2, <br />2009, was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Curtis Fendley, Chairman. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Curtis Fendley, Chairman <br />Bee Gannon <br />Darin Manning <br />Richard Hunt <br />Benny Plata <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Bill Harris <br />Keith Barnett <br />C. Jeanna Scott, Administrative Assistant was also present. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (October 5, 2009) <br />Motion was made by Bill Harris, seconded by Darin Manning to approve the minutes for <br />the October 5, 2009 meeting. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Southwest LTC, Ltd for a <br />change in zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a One - Family Dwelling District No. <br />2 (SF -2) with a Specific Use Permit (20) Hospital, Convalescent Home, Residence Home <br />for the aged on a 48.07 tract of land being a part of the Joshua Moore Headright Survey, <br />Abstract No. 571, being located in the 100 Block of 47th Street S.E. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />The following individual spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Mark Hesse, Southwest LLC, spoke favor of the petition. Mr. Hesse stated he was there to <br />answer any questions the commissioners may have. <br />
