MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />COX FIELD AIRPORT TERMINAL <br />MEETING ROOM <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2005 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Vic <br />Ressler, Jr. at 5:30 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Glen Chapman <br />Don Morrell <br />Jack Ashmore <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Andrew Fasken <br />Bill Boothe <br />Harry Michaelwicz <br />C. Also present was Lisa Wright, Airport Director, and Jerry Richey, <br />Airport Manager. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. No changes were made to the <br />minutes of August 18, 2005, and they were approved as submitted. <br />3. Receipt from the fly-in and air show subcommittees. Vic Ressler suggested <br />that a date be selected for the air show and that people be assigned to work <br />on the show. The tentative date is late March or early April, and a definite date <br />will be selected by January 15. Glen Chapman suggested that Billy Copeland <br />coordinate the air show. <br />4. Receipt of report from the Airport Director. Ms. Wright reported that the <br />Airport grant was mailed back to TxDOT, therefore, funds should be coming <br />pretty soon. Also, Ms. Wright reported that she and City Engineer were at the <br />Airport looking at the ditch today, and Ms. Wright will contact TxDOT <br />regarding a grant that is in place —part of it is for a hangar and part is for <br />pavement —to see if there is some way to extend 135' or 140' x 25' to get that <br />first 25' stretch of concrete plus remove the black top material and re -pave. <br />If this cannot be taken care of in a timely manner then a grate might need to <br />be put on the area. Also, Ms. Wright was asked to into the FA86 location. Ms. <br />
