MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />COX FIELD AIRPORT TERMINAL <br />MEETING ROOM <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, MARCH 15, 2007 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Vic <br />Ressler at 5:30 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Vic Ressler <br />Glen Chapman <br />Bill Boothe <br />Jack Ashmore <br />Billy Copeland, Ex- Officio <br />The following members were absent: <br />Andrew Fasken <br />Ronnie Ballard <br />Harry Michalewicz <br />B. Also present was Lisa Wright, Airport Director; Jerry Richey, Airport <br />Manager; and Pete Kampfer, Chamber CEO /PEDC Director. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. Minutes of the January 18, <br />2006, meeting were approved as presented. <br />3. Introduce Pete Kampfer, Chamber CEO /PEDC Director. Pete Kampfer <br />introduced himself and spoke about airport projects he was involved in at the <br />Tucemcari Airport. He stated the Chamber could help fund a baseline study <br />for the airport. Mr. Kampfer went on to talk about his background in aviation <br />and said he would help get funding for airport projects. He talked about <br />economic development opportunities and suggested we should call Fed -Ex, <br />Airborne, etc. and let them know we have an airport for them to start coming <br />here. He stated that airports are a big incentive for companies looking to <br />locate to an area, and the Paris airport is a good sized one. <br />4. Receipt ofreport from the Fly -In Subcommittee and possible action on the Fly - <br />In. Glen Chapman recommended putting off the event until later in the year <br />because of conflicts with other fly -ins. Billy Copeland stated we should get <br />dates and see what's going on. Glen Chapman stated Waco has big Fly -In on <br />same date we picked. Pete Kampfer stated we need to buy fuel to get them <br />
